Is LapViz free for coaches?
Yes, and it stays free: no subscription and no commission. The coach profile, the requests, the teams and the analysis are free for coaches and their drivers.
Who can become a coach?
Anyone with a LapViz account, a driver too. Fill in the coach profile in your account settings and submit it: LapViz reviews it before the drivers can find you.
Which data do I see?
Only the sessions a driver sends you with a request, for a limited time: two weeks, or a week after their next session when later. In a team, each driver chooses which sessions the coaches see.
How am I paid?
Directly by the driver. In your profile you choose free, a fixed price or a price on quote, and add your own payment link: the driver sees a button to pay you once you take their request. LapViz does not handle the payment and takes no commission.
Which loggers and lap timers are supported?
All the formats LapViz reads: data loggers, GPS lap timers, phone apps and action cameras. The list is on the page of the supported formats.
Does it work for cars and motorbikes?
Yes. The coach profile, the requests and the analysis work the same for karts, cars and motorbikes, at track days and training.
